What is CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is the second most abundant active ingredient in cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is the primary ingredient in medical marijuana, it is of course also found in marijuana (ganja)
CBD, unlike THC, which is found in marijuana, does not have psychoactive effects and thus does not cause hallucinations. This has also been confirmed by the World Health Organisation (WHO), which has confirmed that CBD use is generally safe and shows no effects indicative of potential abuse or dependence. To date, there is no evidence of public health problems associated with the use of pure CBD.
HOW IS CBD OIL PRODUCED?
CBD oil is a plant extract that is extracted from the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa). First, it is necessary to obtain pure CBD, which is found in large quantities in the hemp plant. CBD is extracted from the hemp plant using a state-of-the-art extraction method called ‘supercritical carbon dioxide extraction’. It is a gentle method that allows to obtain the optimal concentration of cannabinoids and terpenes. THC is then removed by chromatography.
Full-Spectrum vs. Broad-Spectrum CBD oil?
CBD oils can be full spectrum or broad spectrum, depending on their composition. CBD oil that has been isolated directly from the cannabis plant and has not undergone any further purification process is full spectrum (full-spectrum CBD oil). This substance contains all the non-polar (oil) components of cannabis, namely CBD, terpenes, phytocannabinoids, sterols and flavonoids, essential fatty acids, other lipids and also THC.
CBD oil without THC is called broadspectrum CBD oil.
- Full spectrum CBD – contains several components of the cannabis plant, including trace amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Legal full-spectrum products will always have less than 0,3 % THC. In states where cannabis is fully legal, you may also find full-spectrum products with higher THC levels.
- Broad spectrum CBD – neobsahuje THC. Obsahuje však ďalšie zložky rastliny kanabisu.
- CBD Isolate – A pure CBD product, the isolate does not contain any other compounds found in cannabis other than the CBD itself.
What is the difference between CBD and CBG ?
- CBD or cannabidiol is the main cannabinoid found in cannabis plants. CBD is known for its medical benefits, which include reducing inflammation, pain relief and anti-anxiety effects, and treating epileptic seizures in children.
- CBG or cannabigerol is also a cannabinoid found in cannabis plants. CBG is known for its medical benefits, which include reducing inflammation, pain relief, and anti-anxiety effects. CBG is also being researched for its potential to treat other conditions such as glaucoma and Huntington’s disease.
CBG makes up a smaller percentage of the cannabinoids in cannabis plants than CBD. However, this does not mean that CBG is less potent than CBD.
How to smoke CBD?
If you want to smoke CBD and therefore legally smoke cannabis, try CBD flowers (CBD cones). They are made from technical hemp, mostly bred and of the highest quality. You can buy CBD cones in Slovak eshops. In short, CBD flowers are dried hemp parts (cones) from mature Cannabis sativa plants, specially bred to contain less than 0.3% THC (the legal standard for THC content) and the highest possible concentration of CBD.

Is CBD addictive?
CBD stands for cannabidiol and THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol, which are substances found in cannabis plants.
CBD is often sold as an oil, is not psychoactive and has some medicinal properties. THC, on the other hand, is the main psychoactive chemical in cannabis.
For many, understanding the difference between CBD and THC is complicated because hemp or marijuana contains both. People who abuse marijuana are addicted to the psychoactive properties of THC. Although many argue that marijuana is not addictive, it can be addictive. Since cannabidiol (CBD) is not psychoactive, it is not addictive per se.

Our customers take CBD oil for the following diagnoses
Studies conducted on animals and research on humans suggest that CBD can help with:
Anxiety
Anxiety studies and clinical trials suggest a positive message “that CBD can reduce the symptoms of anxiety.”
Insomnia
Studies suggest that CBD may help with both falling asleep and staying asleep.
Chronic pain
From research, CBD is thought to help control pain, but more studies are needed to be sure it helps everyone.
Epilepsy in children
In many studies, CBD has been shown to reduce the number of seizures and in some cases stop them altogether.
Addiction
According to some research in humans, CBD can help reduce cravings for tobacco and heroin under certain conditions. Animal models of addiction suggest it may also help reduce cravings for alcohol, cannabis, opiates and stimulants.
Schizophrenia
Findings suggest that CBD has beneficial effects in patients with schizophrenia.
Cardiovascular disease
Accumulating evidence suggests that CBD s beneficial for the cardiovascular system. CBD acts directly on isolated arteries, causing both acute and time-dependent vasorelaxation.
Obesity and diabetes
In a study using mouse models, CBD was shown to significantly reduce the incidence of diabetes in these mice.
Cancer
Studies suggest that CBD may improve orthodox treatment with chemotherapeutic agents and radiation therapy and protect against nerve and organ damage. CBD holds promise as part of an approach to cancer treatment.
Alzheimer’s disease
Studies provide “proof of principle” that CBD and possibly CBD-THC combinations are new candidates for Alzheimer’s disease therapy.
Skin diseases
A wealth of preclinical evidence suggests that topical application of CBD may be effective for certain skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, pruritus, and inflammatory conditions.
Which CBD oil to choose and why?
The cannabis plant contains a number of different compounds including myrcene, terpenes and the most well-known cannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). In addition to THC, there are plenty of other cannabinoids found in cannabis, and among them is legal CBD, or cannabidiol, which is taken for its potential health benefits.
Which CBD oil to choose depends largely on their composition and therefore whether they contain THC and other cannabinoids necessary for the so-called CBD side effect.
FULL SPECTRUM
full spectrum CBD oil
Contains myrcene and terpenes, less than 0.3% THC, CBD as the main ingredient and other cannabinoids.
It is considered to be a stronger CBD oil as the full spectrum of active ingredients induces the CBD side effect.
FOR ATHLETES
CBD oil + CBG
Contains myrcene and terpenes, no THC (0% THC), CBD as the main ingredient and other cannabinoids. In addition, it contains CBG.
Specially designed combination of ingredients to enhance the “side effect”. Specially designed CBD oil with CBG for athletes.
BROAD SPECTRUM
broad spectrum CBD oil
It contains no THC (0% THC) and contains CBD but less of the other substances from hemp.
So is FULL SPECTRUM OIL better
If you’re wondering whether full-spectrum or broad-spectrum CBD is better, the answer is: either oil is great. Whichever form of CBD best suits your needs and preferences is the right CBD for you. Once you’ve decided whether you want to opt for full-spectrum or broad-spectrum CBD, both are good choices and it’s up to you which will be better and more effective for you. Every body responds differently to both the dosage and the intensity of the effects, due to the different endocannabinoid system found in our bodies, and just as everyone can handle different levels of alcohol or THC, so likewise the effect of CBD on the body varies and everyone has to find their own optimal dosage.
